Job Overview:
The Center for Environmental Intelligence (CEI) at VinUniversity is seeking a Data Collection Assistant to support the primary data collection process for qualitative research on market readiness for the carbon credit market to the project “Carbon Stock Estimation and Biodiversity Assessment in Vietnam Forests Using Remotely Sensed Data and Deep Learning Neural Networks.”
Key Responsibilities:
- Create a database of potential carbon credit buyers and donators.
- Design and conduct pilot tests and formulate survey questionnaires aimed at capturing attitudes, purchase intentions, and willingness to pay for carbon credits.
- Assist in analyzing and interpreting survey data to derive insights into market readiness for the carbon credit market.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the effective execution of the data collection strategy.
- Contribute to the preparation of research reports and presentations as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analysis, Mathematics, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Current Master’s students are also encouraged to apply.
- Experience in using qualitative analysis tools: SPSS, Stata, R, Python
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience in academic business research is a plus.
