Research Assistant in Optimization and Scientific Computation

Job Overview:
Center for Environmental Intelligence (CEI) at VinUniversity is looking for two research assistants to work on “Accelerating and robustifying optimization models in smart energy allocations” project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive literature searches and summarize relevant findings to support the research objectives; maintain an organized database of literature and references.
  • Conduct advanced academic research and scientific computations with a focus on sensitivity analysis, designing algorithms and stabilizing networks.
  • Assist teaching optimization topics in undergraduate course.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science. Current Master students are also accepted.
  • Experience in programming (Python, MATLAB).
  • Experience in academic research is a plus.
